Plantation en lignes : Mode de plantation où les jeunes plants sont disposés sur des lignes parallèles (le plus souvent équidistantes) et à des intervalles aussi réguliers que possible. Dans le cas d'une plantation en layons, la plantation est pratiquée le long de couloirs ouverts dans le sous-bois, à intervalles plus ou moins réguliers (parfois à l'intervalle du peuplement final). C'est une forme de plantation d'enrichissement.
